Zero Tolerance Policy

At Kewal Shree Institute of Management, we maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy towards ragging in any form. We are committed to providing a safe, healthy, and conducive environment for all our students.

What Constitutes Ragging?

Ragging includes any of the following acts:

  • Any act that causes or is likely to cause physical or psychological harm or fear in a student
  • Asking students to do any act which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame or embarrassment
  • Any act that prevents, disrupts, or disturbs the regular academic activity of a student
  • Exploitation of students for completing academic tasks or for other similar activities
  • Any act of financial extortion or forceful monetary burden on a student
  • Any act of physical or mental abuse including bullying and exclusion from groups
  • Any act of sexual abuse, homosexual assaults, or unlawful physical contact

Punitive Measures

Any student found guilty of ragging will face strict disciplinary action which may include:

  • Suspension from the institution
  • Withholding/withdrawing scholarship and other benefits
  • Debarring from appearing in any test/examination or other evaluation process
  • Withholding results
  • Debarring from representing the institution in any regional, national, or international event
  • Expulsion from the institution and barring from admission to any other institution
  • Legal action under the Indian Penal Code

All complaints will be treated with strict confidentiality. The identity of the complainant will be protected. We encourage students to come forward and report any incidents without fear of retaliation.
