Zero Tolerance Policy
At Kewal Shree Institute of Management, we maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy towards ragging in any form. We are committed to providing a safe, healthy, and conducive environment for all our students.
What Constitutes Ragging?
Ragging includes any of the following acts:
- Any act that causes or is likely to cause physical or psychological harm or fear in a student
- Asking students to do any act which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame or embarrassment
- Any act that prevents, disrupts, or disturbs the regular academic activity of a student
- Exploitation of students for completing academic tasks or for other similar activities
- Any act of financial extortion or forceful monetary burden on a student
- Any act of physical or mental abuse including bullying and exclusion from groups
- Any act of sexual abuse, homosexual assaults, or unlawful physical contact
Punitive Measures
Any student found guilty of ragging will face strict disciplinary action which may include:
- Suspension from the institution
- Withholding/withdrawing scholarship and other benefits
- Debarring from appearing in any test/examination or other evaluation process
- Withholding results
- Debarring from representing the institution in any regional, national, or international event
- Expulsion from the institution and barring from admission to any other institution
- Legal action under the Indian Penal Code
